Creative activity

LI:Students can work collaboratively to create a visual representation of the landscape Rainforest. 

 

Activity:

  • Divide the class into 4 groups.  

  • Using A3 Paper each group are to draw one section of the rainforest (Forest floor, lower story, canopy and emergent). 

  • Using the information from page 142 of your print outs, ensure the layer you are creating describes the different characteristics. This includes animals, vines, etc. 

  • Use colors to represent the rainforest

Print out of animals will be provided for tracing. 

Content: 

  • investigate different landscape and the geomorphic processes that create distinctive landforms , for example:  (ACHGK048, ACHGK050)

  • examination of ONE landscape and its distinctive landforms
